Terms of Service

MealPets connects pet owners with credentialed pet nutritionists for online nutrition consultations and written feeding plans. By creating an account or booking a consultation, you agree to these Terms.

MealPets provides nutrition guidance only. Our nutritionists are not your veterinarian and do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prescribe for medical conditions. A consultation is not a substitute for in-person veterinary care.

If your pet has a medical emergency — including difficulty breathing, suspected toxin ingestion, trauma, collapse, seizures, or inability to urinate — contact an emergency animal hospital immediately. Do not use MealPets for emergencies.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. One account works across MealPets and your MyPetID dashboard (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for activity under your account.

Consultation prices are shown before payment and charged at booking via our payment processor (Stripe). You authorize us to charge the card you provide for the consultation you book and, where you have saved a card, for follow-up consultations you initiate.

• More than 24 hours before your consultation: free cancellation (full refund) or reschedule.
• Within 24 hours of your consultation: cancellations are refunded 50%.
• No-shows (you do not join) are non-refundable. We allow a short grace period and, at our discretion, one courtesy rebook.
• If a nutritionist cancels or cannot attend, you may keep your time with another nutritionist, choose a new time, or receive a full refund.
• Reschedules are limited to two per booking.

Your nutritionist's recommendations are independent and clinical. Some recommended products may include affiliate links; MealPets may earn a commission on purchases made through them. Your nutritionist receives no brand-specific compensation, and monetization never influences clinical recommendations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MealPets is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nutrition guidance is provided "as is".

The full liability, indemnification, governing-law, and dispute-resolution terms are being finalized with our legal team.
